Updated….अमेरिकामा ३ दिन भित्रै अर्को दु:खद बिमान दुर्घटना भएको छ । अमेरिकाको उत्तरपूर्वी फिलाडेल्फियामा गएराति एउटा निजी विमान दुर्घटनामा परेको छ । विमानमा सवार सबै ६ जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ । बिमान दूर्घटना स्थलमा अर्का एक जनाको पनि निधन भएको छ भने १९ भन्दा बढी घाइते भएका छन । अधिकारीहरू र घटनास्थलबाट प्राप्त भिडियोका अनुसार सो विमान भवनमा ठोक्किएपछि विस्फोट भएको थियो । बिस्फोटपछि जमिनमा रहेका केही मानिस घाइते भएका छन् भने वरपर रहेको घर र गाडीमा आगोलागी भएको छ । उक्त विमानमा चालकदलका चार सदस्यसहित एक नाबालक बिरामी र उनकी आमा रहेका थिए । सो विमान उत्तरपूर्वी फिलाडेल्फिया विमानस्थलबाट प्रस्थान गरेपछि सो दुर्घटनाग्रस्त भएको अधिकारीहरुले बताएका छन् । जहाजमा सवार सबै ६ जना मेक्सिकोका नागरिक भएको बताइएको छ । विमान मिसौरीको स्प्रिंगफिल्ड-ब्रान्सन राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थल जाँदै थियो । गत बुधबार मात्र अमेरिको वासिङटन डि.सी.स्थित रोनाल्ड रेगन नेशनल विमानस्थल नजिक यात्रुवाहक विमान र सैन्य हेलिकप्टर आपसमा ठोक्किंदा ६७ जनाको ज्यान गएको थियो । बिमान दुर्घटना बारे अनुसन्धान भैरहेको र घटना दु:खद भएको राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रम्पले बताएका छन ।

A twin-engine medevac jet carrying a child patient and her mother crashed in a neighborhood in northeast Philadelphia Friday night, causing a fiery explosion, according to authorities and video from the scene. The Learjet 55 with six people on board crashed after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration told CNN.

On board was a pediatric patient and her mother, returning home to Mexico after the child had been treated in Philadelphia, said Shai Gold, spokesperson for flight operator Jet Rescue Air Ambulance. The downed Learjet was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri, the FAA said. Gold told CNN the flight planned to stop for refueling at the Springfield airport before continuing to its final destination of Tijuana, Mexico. Also on board were four crew members, Gold said – a pilot, co-pilot, paramedic and doctor. All six people on board were Mexican nationals, according to Mexico’s foreign ministry. “At this time, we cannot confirm any survivors,” the air ambulance company said earlier Friday.

The plane took off just after 6 p.m. ET and reached 1,650 feet before plunging, according to data from ADS-B Exchange. The data shows the final speed of descent was 11,000 feet per minute.
As an air traffic controller tries to contact the plane, there’s a callout, heard on LiveATC.net, “Medevac med service, northeast tower. Medevac med service, northeast tower. Are you on frequency?”

A little over a minute later, the controller is heard saying: “We have a lost aircraft.”

Several houses and vehicles “were impacted,” Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said at a news conference Friday evening, but added that “we have no reports on the number of fatalities.”

CNN affiliate KYW reported there are several injuries reported on the ground.

Six patients were sent to Temple University Hospital-Jeanes Campus after the crash, a spokesperson from the hospital confirmed to CNN.

Three patients were treated and discharged, while the other three are in “fair condition,” the spokesperson said.

“No names are being released at this time until family members have been notified,” Jet Rescue said in a statement. “Our immediate concern is for the patient’s family, our personnel, their families and other victims that may have been hurt on the ground. More information will be released as it becomes available.”

A photo of the twin-engine jet, which has a tail number that indicates it is registered in Mexico, shows it has “Jet Rescue” painted on it. It also has medical logos on its tail and wingtip.

• A medical transport jet carrying a child patient, her mother and four others crashed into a Philadelphia neighborhood about 30 seconds after taking off, erupting in a fireball and engulfing several homes in flames.
• The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, near the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue. Multiple videos obtained by NBC10 show the plane plummeting from the sky, crashing to the ground and a massive explosion shortly after. Multiple homes in the area caught fire.
• According to the FAA, the plane was a Learjet 55 that left Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was headed for Springfield-Branson National Airport and stopping in Missouri before traveling to its final destination of Tijuana, Mexico.
• A girl who was returning to Mexico after receiving treatment for a life-threatening illness in the U.S. was among the six people on board the flight. The girl’s mother,  a pilot, copilot, doctor and paramedic were also on board.
• Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which operated the Learjet 55, said in a statement: “We cannot confirm any survivors.” There was no immediate word whether anyone on the ground was killed, but at least six people were treated for injuries at a hospital.
• The FAA said the National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation. The NTSB said an investigator arrived and more officials would be there Saturday.
• A shelter for those impacted by the crash opened at Samuel Fels High School on 5500 Langdon Street in Philadelphia.
